When a house fly enters through your door or window, it isn't following the scent of your bananas across the house. It's navigating toward light sources. Once it lands on the nearest organic surface your fruit, your drain, your sponge, your trash it feeds. And then it lays eggs.
A single house fly can lay up to 500 eggs at a time.
Those eggs hatch within 24 hours. The larvae can become breeding adults in under two weeks. By the time you see ten flies in your kitchen, there are hundreds of eggs already developing in places you can't see and will never fully clean inside your drain, under the trash liner, in the garbage disposal, in the soil of your houseplant.
You're not fighting the flies you can see. You're fighting a breeding cycle that's always one generation ahead of you.
